Andrew Kelly is a partner in the New Orleans, Louisiana, office of Odom & Des Roches, LLP. Mr. Kelly has extensive experience handling civil and criminal litigation matters in both state and federal courts.

Mr. Kelly has particular experience in the antitrust field, where he has litigated pharmaceutical industry matters such as In re Buspirone Antitrust Litig., S.D.N.Y.; In re Relafen Antitrust Litig., D. Mass., In re Remeron Antitrust Litig., D. N.J.; In re K-Dur Antitrust Litig., D. N.J., and In re Tricor Antitrust Litig., D. Del.

Mr. Kelly has also litigated extensively in the medical device industry, serving as co-lead trial counsel in Natchitoches Parish Hosp. Serv. Dist. v. Tyco International (US) et al, D. Mass. He has also litigated extensively in the agricultural industry (In re Mushroom Direct Purchaser Antitrust Litig.) and the airline industry (In re Northwest Airlines Antitrust Litg., E.D. Mich.). Expert economists that Mr. Kelly has examined in pre-trial hearings and jury trials include Prof. Einer Elhauge, Dr. Janusz Ordover, Dr. John Beyer, and Dr. Hal Singer.

Mr. Kelly was born in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania on December 6, 1966, and was admitted to the bar for the States of Louisiana and California in 1994. Prior to joining Odom & Des Roches, Mr. Kelly operated a hybrid private/public criminal defense practice as a sole practitioner and public defender for four years before closing his practice to clerk for the late Hon. John Minor Wisdom at the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. He joined the firm in 1999 and was made a partner in 2004. Mr. Kelly attended Tulane University and received his bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Berkeley in 1988. He received his juris doctorate from the University of San Diego in 1994.
